Runners: 1,600 (main 10K) + 200 (children’s fun run)

What we provided:

  • Shoe tags issued dynamically to every runner along with bib numbers

  • Three timing lines: main finish line, backup timing line, and a commentary line with remote display

  • Manual backups + video backup for peace of mind

  • Live results uploaded as runners crossed the finish line, including full category breakdowns

This event was as festive as it gets! From fancy dress competitions (Christmas puddings were a highlight) to runners crossing the line with huge smiles, the day had a fantastic atmosphere. We even joined in the Christmas spirit with our own hats!

Working closely with Weston Athletics Club, we made sure all timing points were fully backed up, results were accurate and delivered quickly, and runners had a seamless experience. With all the data captured, we were able to provide the club with detailed reports and insights post-event, helping them plan for future races.

It was a brilliant example of how professional timing and a bit of festive fun can come together to create an awesome experience for everyone involved.
