The is one of the most iconic multi-terrain races in the South West, and with over 2,100 entries across the Grizzly and Cub races it made for one of the bigger events we’ve had the pleasure of timing.

To ensure the highest level of accuracy, we operated three timing points across the start and finish areas, alongside a remote timing point in Branscombe which transmitted data back to the finish line as the race unfolded.

Custom bib numbers were supplied for all runners, with live results available throughout the race and a commentary line helping keep spectators engaged as athletes crossed the finish.

Our timing team also ran multiple layers of backup, with manual timing being collected throughout the race and additional checks carried out on the top 50 runners to ensure highly accurate chip times.

Events like the Grizzly are truly special to be part of. The atmosphere, the challenge of the course, and the incredible effort from every runner make it an awesome race from start to finish.

If you need your event timed, big or small, get in touch and we’d love to help.
